*New in 2025* Novel Technique Abstracts

This year, in addition to the usual cutting-edge research abstracts, we are soliciting abstracts that showcase novel techniques developed or utilized in your research. Selected abstracts will be part of a special Ask an Expert Poster Session. If you have a unique method to share, we encourage you to submit a technical abstract under the “Novel Technique” category within the abstract submission site.

Please note: You may submit a separate abstract for a novel technique, even if it is already included in another submitted abstract.

Abstract Review

All abstracts submitted will be reviewed and graded in blinded fashion by the Scientific Program Committee. Based upon abstract grading, those selected will be assigned as Oral Abstract Presentations, Poster Presentations or Abstract Slam Presentations. The review process takes approximately 4 weeks. All Presenting Authors will be notified via email of the status of their submission(s).  In the event that notification is not received, please contact info@eosinophil-society.org.

Abstract Presentation Types

Oral Abstract Presentation Poster Presentation Abstract Slam Presentation
Highly scored abstracts will be selected for Oral Abstract Presentations. Presenters will be given 10 minutes for their talk and 5 minutes for Q&A. Presentations should include an oral synopsis of research data that enables the audience to efficiently grasp the research findings. Poster Presenters will create an illustrated synopsis of research data that enables the audience to efficiently grasp the research findings. Presenters will stand next to their poster during assigned times and give brief, verbal explanations of the poster content. Presenters will have 5 minutes and 4 slides to present their research and explain why the work is important, provocative, and/or novel. The presentation should state the main question and briefly summarize the key result. The Poster Slams are lively and fast-paced competitions.

Abstract presentations will be judged on-site and awards for the best Oral Abstract, Poster and Abstract Slam will be presented during the Awards Dinner on Thursday, 10 July 2025.
